What 15 cm of width does — and does not — solve
The stated 15 cm width is an appealing starting point for a tight counter. It is only one measurement, though. Allow for the water tank, portafilter, milk jug and separate grinder, then check the manual for working clearance. A machine that fits between two appliances may still be awkward to use there.
Three presets: a broader drinks menu, but not a performance test
Espresso, double espresso and cold brew are the three documented presets. The extra setting is useful if you want a choice of hot and cold drinks, but it should not be confused with traditional overnight steeping. If you rarely make iced coffee, it may not be a reason to choose this machine.
Manual milk preparation is part of the decision
The steam wand is manual: you position the jug and control the milk texture. That suits someone who wants to practice, but asks more of you than the Bambino Plus’s automatic texturing. Choose around how much involvement you want in the drinks you make most often.
The grinder and machine price should be separate numbers

Look at the Bambino if you prefer its 54 mm portafilter system and manual-steam setup.
