OPTION 02
Avid Armor USV32 Chamber Vacuum Sealer
US model: USV32
The stainless-steel chamber accepts pouches up to 11 by 13 inches, giving longer portions more room than in the USV20. It is worth considering for regular batch prep.

Which would suit your kitchen?
Choose the weight you can accommodate
The VP215 calls for a permanent station in most homes. The USV32 is still substantial, but much lighter. Check the surface, delivery access and how often you would move either machine. Heavy construction is not a benefit if it makes your normal prep inconvenient.
Look at depth and opening width separately
The VP215 offers a deeper chamber, while the USV32 has a wider documented maximum pouch opening. Compare actual filled portions and sealing margins. A larger chamber in one direction does not make every long or bulky cut suitable for the machine.
Budget for the pump and the lid
VP215 ownership includes oil-pump care. USV32 placement includes its roughly 22.5-inch open-lid requirement. Read the respective manuals and price compatible bags and maintenance parts. Choose the format that solves a repeated prep need, rather than buying the heavier machine by default.
This comparison draws on manufacturer specifications rather than our own hands-on tests. Follow the full reviews for more detail, including attributed independent perspectives where available. Check the selected Amazon model and current offer before buying.
