Which would suit your kitchen?

The pump is the first ownership question

If avoiding oil changes matters, investigate the VP210’s dry-pump arrangement. The VP215 brings oil servicing into the routine. Read each current manual for operating limits and care; pump type alone does not establish a tested difference in vacuum speed, seal quality or food shelf life.

A similar chamber still needs a filled-pouch check

Both document an eleven-and-a-quarter by fifteen-and-a-quarter by five-inch chamber and ten-by-thirteen-inch maximum bags. The food, pouch mouth and clean sealing margin all have to fit properly. Published seal-bar wording varies, so confirm compatible supplies rather than extrapolating from a single nominal measurement.

Plan a permanent position

Seventy-two and eighty-four pounds are both serious home handling commitments. Allow lid clearance, a suitable surface and room for the portions waiting to be sealed. If you would need to move the machine every time, compare the lighter home chambers before selecting either model.
