Connected nugget ice in a smaller format or an Opal package with a side tank.
Ecozy emphasizes app scheduling and alerts in its smaller body; the linked GE configuration adds an external 0.75-gallon tank.
OPTION 01
ecozy Mistalo Smart Nugget Ice Maker
US model: IM-NS280B
The Mistalo uses the EcozyHome app for start/stop control, scheduling and water/bin alerts. It is worth comparing if connected controls matter more than a larger side tank.

OPTION 02
GE Profile Opal 2.0 with 0.75-Gallon Side Tank
US model: XPIO13BCBT
This Opal 2.0 configuration adds a 0.75-gallon side tank and Wi-Fi controls. GE lists up to 38 pounds of ice per day and a 3-pound bin, so compare serving capacity as well as refills.

Which would suit your kitchen?
Compare complete water setups
The Opal’s external tank has to fit somewhere, while the Ecozy buyer should check reservoir access and refill frequency. Place the whole setup on your measured counter plan. Main-unit dimensions alone can make a side-tank machine appear smaller than its working arrangement.
Make the app earn its place
Ecozy uses EcozyHome with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; GE uses its SmartHQ connection. Check current requirements and the controls you would actually use. Scheduling is useful only when the machine is filled, clean and ready to run; it does not replace upkeep.
Treat the numbers carefully
Ecozy’s Amazon and manufacturer output statements differ, so our review records both. GE documents 38 pounds a day and a three-pound bin. Do not turn those claims into a tested speed or reliability ranking; compare serving capacity, maintenance and the selected model instead.
This comparison draws on manufacturer specifications rather than our own hands-on tests. Follow the full reviews for more detail, including attributed independent perspectives where available. Check the selected Amazon model and current offer before buying.
